When I started this post I desperately wanted to get these. The my amazing gardener neighbor lady told me I could dig up any of hers and transplant them to my yard because they spread well and she had plenty that had moved themselves to random places around the yard.
Then before I could dig them up a horrible heat wave moved in for a few weeks. I may have killed the half dozen hostas that I was in the middle of transplanting when the heat wave hit and we're left unplanted laying in the yard fire those few weeks. I did eventually plant the bulbs but only spring will be able to tell if they survived my poor choices.
By the time the heat wave ended and I could safely take my girls outside to work In the yard again, all indications of where the naked ladies were planted had vanished again.
Then in the fall I found some bulbs at the local Super expensive nursery. Then we had a much earlier winter than I expected and didn't get a chance to plant them. So as of right now I've got a handful of these bulbs sitting in the girls' bedroom waiting for me to pop them into the ground asap.
